Primary Responsibilities: This position supports accounting activities within the financial-accounting team. Responsibilities include receiving and processing accounts-payable invoices in a timely manner; corresponding with vendors and other RoyOMartin locations via mail, e-mail, and telephone; and learning complex state and local sales tax rules and applying them against vendor invoices.

Job Qualifications: To be considered for this position, the candidate must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of prior accounts-payable experience. Furthermore, he/she must be proficient in office-automation software, have a working knowledge of computerized accounting systems, and possess good mathematical skills. Vocational training in basic accounting principles is preferred.

Behavioral Profile: The candidate must demonstrate a strong sense of safety awareness, as well as organizational skills, professionalism, and detail orientation. Exceptional interpersonal-communications skills are critical, as this individual is responsible for interfacing with diverse groups of people, both inside and outside the organization. The candidate must be able to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a time. Lastly, he/she must be dependable, adaptable, and versatile, with the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment. Ongoing personal and professional development is a condition of employment.
