Location: Alexandria, LA – Home Office
Primary Responsibilities: Content creators create both written and verbal media, be it internal or external, that effectively describes and promotes the organization and its products. Responsibilities include developing content for website, social media, and marketing; writing, reviewing, editing, and updating communications for internal and external use; building and managing editorial and content calendars; using communication technology to boost productivity; and assisting various departments with communication needs.
Job Qualifications: To be considered for this position, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or other relevant field, and at least 2 years of experience in a similar role. Furthermore, he/she must be highly skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Google Ads, WordPress, and social-media platforms. The candidate must possess strong knowledge of communications practices, tools, and techniques, as well as proven experience in developing creative, targeted content.
Behavioral Profile: The candidate must demonstrate a strong sense of safety awareness, as well as organizational skills, professionalism, and detail orientation. Exceptional interpersonal-communications skills are critical, as this individual is responsible for interfacing with diverse groups of people, both inside and outside the organization. The candidate must be able to manage multiple projects and activities with a high sense of urgency.
