Location: Corrigan OSB, L.L.C. (Corrigan, Texas)
Pay Range: $12.50 – $18.65/hour
Schedule: The workday begins at 7 a.m., resulting in an average workweek of 40-43 hours.
Primary Responsibilities: The major responsibility of the human resource (HR) assistant at the Corrigan, Texas, facility (Corrigan OSB, L.L.C.) is to provide support in all functional areas of the human-resources department. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: protecting the organization’s values by keeping information confidential; processing personnel-related documents according to established procedures; assisting with the facilitation of career fairs, pre-employment activities, and orientation; preparing and maintaining confidential data, reports, records, and statistics; scheduling interviews, meetings, and events; preparing internal employee communications; and complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements.
Job Qualifications: Required skills, experience, and education includes a high school diploma or equivalent; 3+ years of office experience in a fast-paced environment; demonstrated verbal and written communication skills; computer proficiency; mathematics and analytical skills; a basic understanding of commonly used business concepts, practices, and procedures; and the ability to operate in a systematic and logical manner. The ideal candidate will possess fluency in both English and Spanish; a college degree in a related field; HR certification (SHRM or HRCI); and/or experience in an HR department that supports a manufacturing team.
