Location: Corrigan OSB, L.L.C. (Corrigan, Texas)
Primary Responsibilities: Responsibilities of the mechanical team supervisor include, but are not limited to, ensuring employees follow safe work practices; providing direction and coordinating activities relating to mechanical repair; proactively performing and overseeing corrective and preventive maintenance; conferring with management/department heads to plan preventive-maintenance programs and scheduling maintenance-related activities with production operations; managing department labor and material costs; managing employee development and training in the department, as well as ensuring cross-training opportunities are completed; contributing to the development of the maintenance budget and ensuring compliance; monitoring inventory of materials and equipment; and inspecting facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
Job Qualifications: To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a high-school diploma or equivalent and stable employment history. Additionally, he/she must demonstrate a strong understanding of hydraulic, pneumatic, and power transmission process systems and knowledge of industrial of safety and health guidelines. At least five years of experience working in a high-volume manufacturing environment is preferred.
