Primary Responsibilities: Major responsibilities of the mobile diesel mechanic include, but are not limited to, safely repairing and performing maintenance on mobile and diesel equipment while in a manufacturing environment. The candidate will perform preventive maintenance on all equipment, as well as troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic repairs.
Job Qualifications: The ideal candidate must have a a high-school diploma or equivalency, and minimum of 2 years of experience working on mobile equipment. He/she must also possess knowledge of hydraulic and diesel systems.
Behavioral Profile: The successful candidate will have outstanding safety and attendance records. Further, he/she will be self-motivated, committed to learning, thorough, and detail-oriented. He/she must possess the ability to multitask and effectively manage time a fast-paced environment. Lastly, the candidate must have the ability to communicate effectively and provide leadership support toward achieving safety, quality, production and housekeeping goals set by management.
