Pay Rate: The starting pay for production team members at Corrigan OSB, L.L.C. is $16.43 an hour, with the ability to advance through on-the-job training.
Position Summary: Production team members are responsible for safely operating production equipment used to make oriented strand board; troubleshooting mechanical issues; actively participating in problem-solving sessions; producing a quality product and required efficiencies consistently; and cross-training on different machine centers. Production team members are expected to strive for maximum potential, both as an individual and as part of a production team. Teams include the green end, heat and energy, forming and press, and shipping.
Position Requirements: Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. The ideal candidate must be committed to maintaining a safe work environment without compromise. He/she must have the ability to collect data and information from different sources, relate and compare it, and identify gaps. The candidate should demonstrate a “can-do” attitude and derive satisfaction from working with others in a team atmosphere.
Behavioral Profile: The successful candidate will be dependable, available to work rotating shifts, and eager to learn in our high-performance team environment. Furthermore, he/she must be willing to cross-train in the designated progression plan. Critical is the ability to be adaptable and work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
