Location: Corrigan OSB, L.L.C. (Corrigan, Texas)
Primary Responsibilities: Responsibilities of the purchasing supervisor include, but are not limited to: providing supervisory oversight of purchasing and stores to include safety, compliance, and efficiency; providing purchasing support to ensure all material and service orders comply with established purchasing standards for day-to-day items, capital projects, and major maintenance outages; developing, maintaining, and adhering to company purchasing procedures; assisting team members with purchasing, receiving, and inventory needs, and resolving any related issues; ensuring proper storeroom inventory levels are maintained for production and maintenance needs; seeking new suppliers and cost-reduction opportunities throughout the business and company; and proficiently using Maximo purchasing and stores modules.
Job Qualifications: To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a high-school diploma or equivalent, computer proficiency, and at least 3 years of leadership experience in purchasing/storeroom operations or in a related role in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a college degree in a business-related discipline, a professional certification in purchasing, and/or experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
