Executive Vice President of Manufacturing and Product Sales

Jeremy Burford is the executive vice president of manufacturing and product sales for Martin Sustainable Resources L.L.C. He began his career with the company in 2006 as a member of the Chopin team, serving as dry-end manager, and was most recently the vice president of plywood. His career in the wood products industry began with International Paper after he completed his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at Louisiana Tech University. His roles have included responsibilities in operations management, capital projects, and site improvement. Additionally, Jeremy has been involved in several expansion projects at the Chopin facility, all while pursuing his education through the Louisiana State University Executive Education program.

In this role, Jeremy is responsible for all manufacturing sites and product sales. He is a member of the Central Louisiana Manufacturers Council and has completed the North American Wholesale Lumber Association’s (NAWLA) Executive Management Institute.

Outside of work, Jeremy is a youth league football coach and a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Alexandria, Louisiana. He enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Cortney, and their two children.
