As a follow up to our July 31, 2015, news item, RoyOMartin is pleased to announce that the Reed Huckabay Memorial Scholarship is now fully endowed. This scholarship will be administered by the Louisiana Forestry Foundation, a program of the Louisiana Forestry Association. Since its inception in 1967, the Foundation has awarded over $700,000 in scholarships to deserving forestry students at LSU and Louisiana Tech.
RoyOMartin Woodlands Manager Mickey Rachal stated, “The Reed Huckabay Memorial Scholarship will contribute to the education and development of young foresters for many years to come and will continue Reed’s legacy of excellence and professionalism in the field of forestry established during his career with RoyOMartin. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible.”
Continued contributions are welcomed and encouraged. To learn more about Reed or how to make a donation, visit http://royomartin.projectwp.com/reed-huckabay-memorial-scholarship-established/.
