RoyOMartin WoodWorks
RoyOMartin WoodWorks began in 2007 as part of our company-wide efforts to provide training and employment opportunities to high school students. The program is a high school course offered in Louisiana and Texas for 11th and 12th grade students to meet the needs of employers throughout the region/state. It is a partnership between school boards and RoyOMartin to help prepare students for the workforce. The curriculum covers forestry, safety, applied mathematics, employability, tools and equipment, and product development. In addition, the students gain essential information on the wood-products industry, certification of course completion, and a guaranteed interview with RoyOMartin. The most important goal of this program is influencing students to remain in our states as employable productive citizens.
