Congratulations to longtime RoyOMartin Board of Directors member Charlie Weems on his selection by Louisiana Public Broadcasting as a 2016 Louisiana Legend. A graduate of LSU Law Center, Weems currently serves as president of the Gold Law Firm in Alexandria. His service to Central Louisiana and the state as a whole extends beyond the law office, however. Weems has, according to LPB’s announcement, “distinguished himself not only in his chosen profession as a leader of the bar and fierce advocate for causes public and private, but also in the greater civic arena, as a dedicated servant for higher education and law reform, and a community leader of breadth and vision.”
