Girls Can Too! Program Wraps Up 4th Year

Our Girls Can Too! program completed its fourth successful year with events held at our OSB and plywood facilities in Louisiana. These celebrations marked an important milestone for young women from four Central Louisiana schools who completed this year’s initiative.
Girls Can Too! is built on a simple idea: When young women see what’s possible, they start to believe it for themselves. Through this partnership with our local schools, our female team members step into classrooms to share real experiences, build relationships, and demonstrate what a future in manufacturing can look like.
The goal is clear. Help each student recognize her own potential, open the door to new career paths, and take a step toward closing the gender gap in our industry.
To our school partners – Peabody Magnet High School (Alexandria, La.), Natchitoches Central High School (Natchitoches, La.), Oakdale Middle School (Oakdale, La.), Arthur F. Smith Middle School (Alexandria, La.), and Corrigan-Camden ISD (Corrigan, Tx.), mentors, and students, thank you for the commitment you’ve shown all year. This program works because of you. And we’re proud to keep building tomorrow together!
