Central Louisiana Technical Community College (CLTCC) launched its new Workforce Development Programmable Logic Control (PLC) course this week with four Central Louisiana businesses as part of the college’s ongoing efforts to close the skills gap in Cenla and meet the needs of business and industry. A total of 13 employees from AFCO Industries, Eclectic Products, RoyOMartin, and Weyerhaeuser Company are learning how to operate PLC systems used in an industrial and manufacturing environment.
